Democracy Video Challenge: Win a trip to the U.S. (September 30, 2008)
Create a video that completes the phrase “Democracy is…” and win a trip to the U.S.
The U.S. Embassy in Norway invites you to participate in our Democracy Video Challenge. By creating a video titled “Democracy is…” you can win an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., New York and Hollywood.
Submit your film to the Democracy Video Challenge YouTube webpage (http://www.youtube.com/democracychallenge) within January 31, 2009. In February/March semi-finalists will be chosen and their videos will be screened at an Embassy Democracy Video Challenge Night where a jury will choose the Norwegian winner, who then will be entered into the international contest, and be in the running for the extraordinary prize.
Important details:
• You must be over 18 years old to participate
• The videos can be maximum 3 minutes long
• Videos must be in English OR with English subtitles
• Deadline: January 31, 2009
