One of the Embassy's main public outreach objectives over the coming year is to inform the Norwegian public about the U.S. Presidential election. After the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary, Ambassador White did interviews with NRK’s morning news TV show Morgennytt where he explained the U.S. primaries system and the U.S. political landscape. As a veteran of numerous political campaigns, including President Obama’s in 2008, he  provided some behind-the-scenes information and predictions about the outlook for the candidates.
