Charles Fazzino's 3D pop art in Oslo (May 14, 2009)

On May 14, an anniversary exhibition by American 3D pop artist Charles Fazzino opened in Galleri Albin Upp in Oslo. Ten years after the artist's first exhibition in Norway his art is back - brighter and more colorful than ever. Fazzino's festive, whimsical, and wonderfully detailed, 3D pop art and a unique, hand-assembled 3D layering technique typically depict scenes of New York and Los Angeles which are recognized and collected by fans around the world.

Public Affairs Officer Hilary Olsin-Windecker attended the opening and accepted a piece of art on behalf of the Embassy. She was invited by Fazzino's agent Olav Holm, who organized the opening in Fazzino's place.

The exhibition is open between May 14 and June 21, 2009 and is definitely worth a visit.
