Report the death of a beneficiary
To report the death of a beneficiary, you may
- Call the Federal Benefits Unit at 21 30 85 58, or
- Write to them at the American Embassy, Federal Benefits Unit, Henrik Ibsens gate 48, 0244 Oslo.
- Send an e-mail to fbu.oslo@ssa.gov
Please identify yourself and furnish the deceased beneficiary’s claim number and date of death. If the beneficiary has a surviving spouse and/or child, please give their names and addresses where they can be contacted.
