How to Apply
Applying for a Visa in Person
Most non-immigrant visa applicants between 14 to 79 must apply for a visa in person at our Embassy in Oslo. Interviews are by appointment only. The application process varies between our different visa classes.

Applying for a Visa by Mail
You can send your application by mail of you are under the age of 14, or older than 80. Applicants who meet the requirements to use the Visa Reissuance Program are also encouraged to use this option.

We ask that you send in the required documents and fees by mail. The application fee must be paid using a bank remisse issued in Norwegian kroner.
The passport, visa (if granted) and additional documents will be returned by mail, and you will be contacted if additional information, or an interview, is required before we can process your application.
