To accomplish this, the Office provides information about US society and promotes US culture to the Norwegian public; advocates and explains US policies to Norwegian opinion- and decision makers; manages press relations with the Norwegian media;  encourages educational exchange for students and promotes professional exchanges among Norwegians and Americans; and supports the work of the Norway Fulbright Commission to strengthen educational links between the US and Norway.
